The Social Justice Coalition exists to enact God’s Kingdom of justice.  We are inspired by verses like Micah 6:8 “What does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”  Examples of our campaigns have included:  Collecting money for the CRWRC Peter Fish Campaign to combat world hunger, throwing a benefit show for the Free Burma Rangers medical team, protesting Burger King’s lack of labor justice, writing letters for a more fair Farm Bill, serving the homeless at Degage, and fighting to get Fair Trade coffee on campus.

We work in small focus groups on specific projects but come together to learn about a wide array of issues related to justice.  Our meetings are on thursday at 7:30pm in the Library Lobby.  If you would like to join the listserve to receive updates, email rebecca.garafano@gmail.com.
